Men’s Golf Opens Play at Hawaii

The Mizzou men's golf team completed its first day of competition at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Hawaii on Thursday.
As a team, the Tigers sit in 15th place of 19 schools with a team score of +10.
Senior Virgilio Paz and junior Veikka Viskari led the Tigers with a one-over score of 71 in the opening round, each birding a pair of holes.
Overall, five of the six Tigers in action birdied multiple holes on the day with Reese Roberts leading the way with four for Mizzou.
Day two begins on Friday with a 1 p.m. CT shotgun start.
