COLUMBIA, Mo. — Mizzou kicker Blake Craig earned Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday morning following the Tigers' dominant 34-10 win at Arkansas.
Craig drilled a pair of field goals in rainy conditions to help the Tigers earn a fifth-straight Battle Line Rivalry victory, including a 53-yarder to mark his fifth from 50-plus this season. He added a make from 31 yards out.
His 53-yard field goal marked the 12th of his career to bring him one shy of Harrison Mevis' program record of 13 field goals of 50-plus yards. Craig leads the SEC in field goals per game this season (1.64) and ranks 13th nationally.
Next up, No. 19 Missouri hosts a top-20 SEC matchup, welcoming No. 10 Texas to Memorial Stadium, on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 6:45 p.m. on ESPN.
