The Tigers will have all five games broadcast/streamed as two will be on the MLB Network, and three will be on the GameChangers app
Mizzou softball will compete in two national network games during the opening tournament – the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic – with its matchups against Liberty (Saturday, Feb. 7) and South Alabama (Feb. 8) airing on the MLB Network, the NFCA announced on Thursday, Jan. 22.
The Tigers start their national broadcast games with the Flames beginning at 12 p.m. CT/1 p.m. ET on Feb. 7, followed by their final game of the classic against the Jaguars at 12 p.m. CT/1 p.m. ET on Feb. 8.
MU will host two of the five games on the MLB Network, as this is the third year that the NFCA has teamed up with Major League Baseball to broadcast this opening tournament. The Tigers' remaining three games will be streamed via the GameChanger app.
"Building on the continued success of carrying live college softball on MLB Network for the third consecutive year, we're excited to once again partner with the NFCA and GameChanger in 2026," said Marc Caiafa, MLB Network's Senior Vice President of Production. "With softball growing at all levels, the Division I Leadoff Classic continues to be one of the premier opening-weekend events in college softball, making for an exciting opportunity to nationally showcase elite collegiate matchups with high-level coverage on our air."
