
Mizzou Announces 2025 Cross Country Schedule

The Tigers host three regular-season meets and the 2025 NCAA Championship.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri cross country is set to compete in three of four regular season meets at its home facility, Gans Creek Cross Country Course, in addition to the 2025 NCAA Championship, head coach Brett Halter announced on Friday.
"We are thrilled to announce our 2025 cross country schedule, highlighted by our three home meets," cross country coach Kyle Levermore said. "It is an honor to bring the NCAA Championship to Columbia for the first time ever. Gans Creek is the premier destination for collegiate cross country in 2025. Our team has been hard at work in the offseason and we are excited to return nearly our entire team from the 2024 season along with some fresh faces."
The Tigers open their season with the annual Mizzou Opener on Friday, August 29. The team's lone regular-season road competition comes at the Greeno Dirksen Cross Country Invite on Saturday, September 20, hosted by Nebraska and Nebraska Wesleyan at Mahoney Park Golf Course.
Mizzou's final two meets see the team back at home, where MU hosts the Gans Creek Classic on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, October 18 for the Pre-National Invitational. The annual Gans Creek Classic see 22 of the 30 teams that raced in the 2024 NCAA Championship compete.
The postseason begins on Friday, October 31 at the Southeastern Conference Championship hosted by Tennessee at Cherokee Farm Cross Country Course. The NCAA Midwest Championship on Friday, November 14 is at Oklahoma State's Greiner Family's OSU Cross Country Course, followed by the NCAA Championship at Gans Creek Cross Country Course on Saturday, November 22.
The Tigers return 24 individuals from its 2024 roster, including All-SEC Second Team selections Rahel Broemmel and Drew Rogers.
