COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri tennis head coach Bianca Turati announces the signing of transfer Julie Bedard. She will join the 2025-26 Tigers as a sophomore and marks the second transfer inked by Turati for next season, joining graduate student Michelle Kleynerman.

Bedard joins Mizzou after competing her freshman season at Auburn, where she posted a 7-6 singles record and a 7-4 doubles record in the fall. Moreover, she qualified for Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southern Regionals main draw and won three doubles matches at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic.
The Louisville, Kentucky native entered college as the third-ranked recruit in the Bluegrass State according to Tennis Ranking Network and held an International Tennis Federation Junior ranking of 635. Additionally, she won three J30 doubles titles, one J30 singles title and was doubles runner-up in J60 event.
Bedard's mother played tennis at Auburn in 1991 and went on to play professionally after college.
