Volleyball Announces 2025 SEC Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference and University of Missouri volleyball announced Thursday the 2025 conference schedule. The Tigers' slate consists of seven home matches as part of their 15-match SEC schedule.
For the first time in conference history, volleyball will feature programs from all 16 member institutions. Beginning with the 2025 SEC volleyball season, each institution will play each of the other member institutions once, either home or away, for a 15-match Conference schedule.
Conference play will begin on Sept. 24 and run through Nov. 16.
Led by third-year head coach Dawn Sullivan, Missouri will open SEC play on the road, facing Texas A&M in College Station on Sept. 24.
The Tigers' first home SEC match will take place Oct. 3 against Arkansas at Hearnes Center.
Mizzou's home SEC slate also features matchups against Oklahoma (Oct. 5), Ole Miss (Oct. 17), LSU (Oct. 19), South Carolina (Oct. 24), Georgia (Oct. 26), and Kentucky (Nov. 7) at Hearnes Center.
The Tigers' will also compete in SEC road matches at Texas (Sept. 26), at Florida (Oct. 10), at Auburn (Oct. 12), at Tennessee (Oct. 31), at Vanderbilt (Nov. 2), Mississippi State (Nov. 14) and at Alabama (Nov. 16).
The return of the 2025 SEC Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 21-25 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia.
Match times and television assignments will be announced at a later date.
Mizzou went 22-9 (11-5 SEC) in the 2024 season. Head coach Dawn Sullivan has guided the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in each of her two seasons in Columbia, including a run to the NCAA Sweet 16 in this past season's tournament. Sullivan, named 2024 AVCA Central Region Coach of the Year, is 40-22 in two seasons at Mizzou and 149-60 overall as a head coach.
The Tigers will return 2024 AVCA All-American and back-to-back SEC Libero of the Year Maya Sands alongside 2024 All-SEC setter Marina Crownover. Both Sands and Crownover also earned AVCA Central All-Region honors.
MU has picked up four transfers in the spring including Trinity Luckett, Caylen Alexander, Grace O'Reilly, and Tyrah Ariail along with freshman setter Taylor Cook. Four of Missouri's five signees from signing day have also joined the Tigers for the spring 2025 semester.
