
Kellie Harper Welcome Event to be Held Monday

Introductory press conference scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Mizzou Arena practice gym
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Department of Athletics will officially introduce new women's basketball head coach Kellie Harper at a press conference at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Mizzou Arena Practice Gym. The event is free and open to the public.
The arena doors will open at 10:30 a.m. Fans are encouraged to park in Lot P at the backside of the venue where athletic department staff members will direct them to the practice gym.

University of Missouri president Mun Choi, director of athletics Laird Veatch and select university leaders will participate in the press conference.
The welcome event will also stream live on SEC Network+.
Harper was announced as the fifth head coach of the women's basketball program on March 18.
A proven winner with a deep-rooted history of success in high-major college basketball, Harper brings a championship pedigree at the sport's highest level, including 16 postseason appearances in 20 seasons as a Division I head coach, including nine appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

Harper is a decorated leader with extensive experience in the Southeastern Conference as both a coach and student-athlete. With an established track record of recruiting and developing elite talent, Harper is one of two coaches in women's college basketball history to guide four different programs to the NCAA Tournament.
