Men’s Golf Set for The Hootie at Bulls Bay

University of Missouri men's golf continues its trip in South Carolina, competing in The Hootie at Bull Bay, starting on Sunday.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The tournament is over three days at the Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina. The Tigers tee off round one at 8 a.m. CT on Sunday morning before wrapping up the tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Hootie is set for a par-72 course measures 7,226 yards in length.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The Tigers are one of 15 schools competing in the tournament this season, joined by No. 18 South Carolina, No. 39 Purdue, No. 48 New Mexico, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, East Tennessee State, Elon, Furman, Iowa, Kent State, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and Western Carolina.
2024 HOOTIE AT BULLS BAY RECAP
Jack Lundin lifted his first trophy of the season with a first-place finish at the 2024 Hootie at Bulls Bay. Lundin birdied the 54th hole to force a three-way playoff before emerging with the trophy on the third extra hole for his third career title.
As a team, Mizzou placed sixth of 15 schools at the tournament.
STRONG ROOKIE CAMPAIGN
Trent Mierl continued his strong freshman season in the Tigers' most recent outing, placing 16th at the General Hackler Invitational last weekend. Mierl's top-20 finish was the fourth of his rookie campaign in just seven events and the second time he has finished first on the team.
