
Tennis Readies for Action-Packed Weekend at Home

COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri tennis welcomes Lindenwood and Western Illinois to Green Tennis Center on Saturday, Feb. 22, for doubleheader action before kicking of Southeastern Conference play against No. 21 Vanderbilt on Sunday, Feb. 23 at noon CT.
Lindenwood is 1-3 overall, losing their last match against Creighton, 1-6 in St. Peters, Missouri. Western Illinois is 3-4 and is headed to Saint Louis before trekking to Columbia to go up against the Billikens. The Leathernecks lost their match to Creighton 5-2.
Vanderbilt is 6-1, having won their past five matches and sweeping the last three 4-0. The Commodores will be heading to Evanston, Illinois, to go up against Northwestern before heading to Columbia. During the Commodore's last matches, they swept both Murray State and Tennessee State 4-0 at the Lummis Tennis Center on Friday, Feb. 14.
After this weekend's doubleheader, winning both matches against Missouri State and SEMO 4-0 on Saturday, Feb. 15, Mizzou is now 7-1.
