
Bochenski Sets Program Record on Second Day of SEC Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Missouri swimming and diving completed their first two days of competition at the 2025 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships at Gabrielsen Natatorium.
The second day was highlighted by the men's 200 medley relay setting the sixth fastest time in program history. Grant Bochenski, Ty Spillane, Jan Zubik and Luke Nebrich finished sixth with a NCAA B-cut time of 1:23.77. Bochenski also set a program record in the men's 50 back with his leadoff leg of 20.77.
Sydney Bales, Karolina Bank, Taylor Williams and Sierra Smith set their season best at 1:37.18 in the women's 200 medley relay.
In the men's 800 free relay, Calvin Windle set the third best time in program history in the men's 200 free with this leadoff time of 1:33.06.
The women's 800 free relay recorded a season best performance. Zara Zallen, Peyton Drexler, Piper McNeil and Zoe Schneider put up a time of 7:08.69.
Gabriela San Juan Carmona highlighted Monday's competition in women's 1-meter diving. The junior scored 254.10 in the B final to finish in 15th place.
The men's 3-meter diving competition saw Collier Dyer land in 15th with a score of 315.05.

The Tigers are competing in the 2025 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships, February 17-22, in Athens. Mizzou will also host the Mizzou Qualifier, March 1-2, at Mizzou Aquatic Center.
