
Caylen Alexander Signs with Leonas de Ponce

Alexander becomes the sixth player under head coach Dawn Sullivan to play professionally.
Mizzou volleyball's Caylen Alexander has signed a professional volleyball contract with Leonas de Ponce (Ponce, Puerto Rico) for the 2026 Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino season.
Alexander, an outside hitter from Alpharetta, Georgia, earned All-SEC second team honors after appearing in 27 matches for a total of 100 sets during 2025.
Alexander led the Tigers in both points, 480.5 (4.80 points/set) and kills, 422 (4.22 points/set), as well as finishing fourth for digs, 193 (1.93 digs/set). In the SEC, her points per set tally put her seventh in the conference, and her kills per set mark was eighth.
She also put together 25 service aces, nine solo blocks and 49 assisted blocks in her lone year with the Tigers.
Before Mizzou, Alexander spent three seasons at Hawai'i. In 2024, she was an AVCA All-American H.M. after leading the NCAA in kills with 611 last season. She was also named to the AVCA All-Region team and was the Big West Player of the Year during her junior year with the Rainbow Wahine. In her three seasons with Hawai'i, she recorded 1,225 kills, 643 digs, 88 service aces and 133 blocks.
Alexander completed her career with 1,647 kills, 836 digs, 113 service aces and 191 total blocks.
She is now the sixth professional player for head coach Dawn Sullivan at Mizzou. Alexander joins Naomi Franco (Hungary's Szent Benedek Röplabda Akademia), Dilara Gedikoglu (Shining Stars in Turkey), Mychael Vernon (Akademia Sant'Anna Messina in Italy), Kiaraliz Perez Catala (Puerto Rico's Las Changas de Naranjito) and Colleen Finney (A.O. Lamias in Greece) as Mizzou pro volleyball players.
