
Mizzou Hosts Vanderbilt and McKendree in Home Opening Double Dual

Mizzou welcomes Vanderbilt and McKendree to Mizzou Aquatic Center on Saturday, Nov. 1
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Black and Gold host SEC opponent Vanderbilt and non-conference opponent McKendree this upcoming Saturday (Nov. 1) to begin home competition.
The meet will begin at 10 a.m. at Mizzou Aquatic Center, with live results provided via Meet Mobile and Dive Meets. Additionally, the meet will be streamed live via SEC Network+. Admission is free and open to the public.
Mizzou comes into this meet after an unsuccessful trip to West Lafayette, Ind. where the Tigers took eight individual wins and a relay victory. The Tigers fell to Purdue 116-184 (women) and 108-192 (men).
AGAINST VANDERBILT
- The women bring a 2-0 edge against Vanderbilt into the meet.
- Mizzou women's swim and dive last faced Vanderbilt on Oct. 13, 2018, in Nashville, Tenn.
- The last matchup for the women highlighted a 176-81 Tigers win against the Commodores.
AGAINST MCKENDREE
- Both the men's and women's team are 2-0 against McKendree.
- Their last matchup was this past season (2024-25) where the Tigers took on the Bearcats at home, Jan. 17-18, 2025.
- The men's team recorded a 189-110 win, and the women a 248.5-44.5 win.
LAST TIME OUT: PURDUE
- Karolina Bank tallied three wins while taking on the Boilermakers in the 100 breast (1:02.14), 200 breast (2:18.39) and the 200-medley relay (27.41 split).
- Jan Zubik added two races in the win column as well last weekend, with a 46.65 time in the 100 fly and a 1:47.07 in the 200 IM.
- Newcomers Quinlan Gould and Libby Bakker put up wins in their first meets as Tigers. A transfer from Arizona State, Gould took home the 100 back with a time of 47.22. Bakker, a freshman from Maple Grove, Minn., earned her first career win in the 200 back with a time of 1:59.06.
- The women's 200 medley relay squad of Sydney Bales, Bank, Grace Hanson and Katie Kuehn swam 1:40.59 to win the event.
- Senior Collier Dyer remained strong on the springboard with a victory in 1-meter diving (364.58).
- Earning his first career win in the 200 fly, Matthew Judkins put up a time of 1:45.75 against the Boilermakers.
UP NEXT
Mizzou's diving squad will travel to Atlanta, Ga. to compete in the Georgia Tech Invitational Nov. 13-15. Both swimming and diving will compete together at home during the Mizzou Invite Nov. 20-22.
