
Men’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at The Clerico

The Mizzou men's golf team is set for its final tournament of the fall season, competing at The Clerico in Tulsa, Oklahoma, starting on Monday.
TOURNAMENT INFO
The tournament tees off on Monday morning with 8 a.m. tees times and the Tigers opening their 36 holes of play on the 10th at 8:05 a.m. The final round of action is set for Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

The Southern Hills Country Club is hosting the tournament this weekend – a par-71 course that measures.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The Tigers are one of 12 schools competing this week in Tulsa – joining by eight teams ranked in the top 50 nationally – No. 11 New Mexico, No. 16 Auburn, No. 17 Oklahoma State, No. 20 Texas Tech, No. 30 Arizona, No. 34 Washington, No. 42 SMU and No. 47 Northwestern – plus host Oral Roberts, Baylor and Marquette.
EARLY RANKINGS FOR MIZZOU
The Tigers are just outside of the top 50 after the first four tournaments of the season – coming in at No. 63 after the initial rankings were released on Oct. 15.
Individually, Veikka Viskari is the highest-ranked Tiger as he is No. 124 in the nation after posting a top-15 result in all four tournaments – the first for a Mizzou golfer since 2012-13.
LAST YEAR AT THE CLERICO
The Tigers placed ninth of 13 schools at last year's tournament with Northwestern claiming the team title.
Virgilio Paz led Mizzou by finishing 11th overall in the 72-player field at +5 (67-76-72).
