COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 23 University of Missouri wrestling won its second-straight dual, 21-15, over Arizona State on Wednesday night inside Hearnes Center. Four bonus-point victories propelled Mizzou to its victory. The Tigers climb to 4-7 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 action while the Sun Devils slip to 4-5 with a 1-3 conference mark.

Freshman Gage Walker battled to a near-upset victory over second-ranked and reigning National Champion Richard Figueroa, ultimately dropping a 5-4 decision at 125. Mizzou took three of the next four bouts before the break, including a pair of major decision wins from redshirt sophomore Kade Moore, who upset No. 23 Julian Chlebove at 133 pounds, and 15th-ranked Josh Edmond over Daniel Miranda at 141. The Sun Devils picked up an additional decision victory with No. 19 Jesse Vasquez's 2-0 nod over Zeke Seltzer. 

Redshirt sophomore Cam Steed opened up the back half of the action with a victory by injury default, giving the Tigers a 17-6 edge. Redshirt junior Joel Mylin followed with a fourth bonus-point win for the Tigers, a commanding 11-1 major decision over Javani Majoor after bumping up 174 pounds. The Sun Devils grabbed three decision victories to close the dual.

MATCH NOTES

• Missouri now holds a 4-5-1 all-time record against Arizona State

• Moore adds his sixth bonus-point victory of the season, including his fourth-straight win netting bonus points. The redshirt sophomore recieved the Outstanding Wrestler belt from UFC Fight Pass for his upset win. 

• Edmond's major decision marked his fourth bonus-point win this season.

• Mylin recorded his third-bonus point win of season and first at 174 pounds.
