
Tennis Finishes Day Two at FIU Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri tennis finished day two of the FIU Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Missouri started the day battling in double play but could not secure a win. After a rain delay, singles action started with junior Andrea Artimedi getting the win in three sets against Matthews of Florida Atlantic. Senior Mary Brumfield, and freshmen Gian Octa and Sarah Hartel all scrapping to a third set. The Tigers will look to rebound tomorrow on the final day of the invite.
UP NEXT
Missouri will compete on day three, the final day of the FIU Invitational, on Sunday, Jan. 12. The Tigers will play three doubles matches against opponents from Houston and FIU, followed by eight singles matches against players from Houston, DePaul, FIU and Florida Atlantic.
