COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field's Jonathan Seremes (Paris, France) has received votes for the second update of The Bowerman Watch List, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association announced on Thursday afternoon.

The Bowerman Watch List, which was initially announced on Feb. 6, recognizes the top student-athletes in the sport and is given out annually to the most outstanding male and female collegiate track & field athletes in the nation.

With Seremes' inclusion, this marks the third time a Mizzou student-athlete has either made the watch list or received votes for it. He is also the first men's representative in program history. Seremes joins Kearsten Peoples and Karissa Schweizer as the only other Mizzou track and field student-athletes to be named to the list or earn votes.

The sophomore capped off the indoor season with a championship title for triple jump in the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships, recording a result of 16.97m (55-8.25). His jump established a facility record and went down as the best indoor collegiate triple jump since the 2023 SEC Indoor Championship.

Seremes was named to All-SEC First Team honors following his performance, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

In his first collegiate event, Seremes claimed first nationally at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational, recording a jump of 16.94m (55-7). It was also the first time an indoor triple jumper recorded a result of 16.90m or better since March 11, 2023.

Missouri track and field is set to travel to Virginia Beach, Virginia for the NCAA Indoor Championships starting on Thursday, March 13. The contest will be hosted at Virginia Beach Sports Center.
