
Gymnastics Announces 2025 Schedule

Tigers host four meets in Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Head coach of University of Missouri gymnastics Shannon Welker has announced the program's schedule for the upcoming 2025 season on Monday morning, which features four home meets.
The Tigers will host their annual home-opener Black and Gold exhibition meet on December 18 at 11:30 a.m. inside Hearnes Center.
Mizzou's first competition of the season will be on January 3 at 6 p.m. during a quad meet against Illinois State, SEMO and Ball State. Following its season-opening home meet, MU will travel to Denver and Norman, Oklahoma, to take on the Denver Pioneers and the Oklahoma Sooners on January 12 and 17, respectively.
The team returns to Hearnes Center for its first home Southeastern Conference meet of the year against Kentucky, who finished the 2024 season ranked ninth, before another two-meet road trip.
The Tigers get back on the road to take on the reigning national champion LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on January 31 and the Illinois Fighting Illini in Champaign, Illinois on February 9. Missouri will compete against Alabama, Iowa and Illinois for its second quad meet of the year on Valentine's Day.
The final four meets of the regular season will come against SEC competition, with two in Columbia and two away. The Tigers host Georgia on Friday, February 21 and Auburn for Senior Day on March 9 at noon. The final two road meets of the year will come at Florida (February 28) and the regular-season finale at Arkansas (March 14).
The team will commence its postseason run with the SEC Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday, March 22 before the NCAA Regional Championships April 2-6.
Mizzou will seek its fourth NCAA Championships appearance in program history in Fort Worth, Texas, scheduled for April 18-19 or 19-20.

Ahead of the 2025 campaign, head coach Shannon Welker's 12th season leading the program, Coach Welker landed four transfers and brought in a star-studded freshman of five. In addition, two-time All-American and three-time All-SEC gymnast Helen Hu has returned to the Tigers' roster and will use her final year of eligibility for the upcoming campaign.

Season ticket renewals for the 2025 Mizzou gymnastics season are on sale now on MUTigers.com/Tickets. The Tigers will compete in eight conference meets, hosting a quad meet, Kentucky, Georgia and Auburn. Its SEC competition on the road will be at Oklahoma, LSU, Florida and Arkansas.
