
Vilches, Conrad Advance to NCAA Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri track and field team's Roberto Vilches and Christopher Conrad advanced to the finals on Friday during round one of the NCAA Championships.
Vilches cleared 2.17 (7.5) to claim third in the high jump while Conrad claimed fifth in the 800m with a personal-best time of 1:46.79. The time ranks fifth-best time in program history.
Also in action, Mitch Weber finished 16th in the discus with a throw of 56.20 (184-4).
Mitchell Small wrapped up his season with a time 14:06.01 in the 5000m.

Missouri will be back in action on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT as Emily Offenheiser and Ames Burton compete in the discus.
