WALNUT, Calif. — The University of Missouri track and field team was led by 13 athletes earning personal-best performances in its second day competing in the Mt. Sac Relays on Friday in Walnut, Calif. The Tigers notched career-high marks across both running and field events.
NOTABLE FINISHES
- Kaia Harris won the women's discus with a 56.23m/184-5 mark.
- Dan Brookling finished second in the men's 1500m with a 3:47.04 time — a new personal best.
- Freshman Ethan Lee placed fifth and notched a personal-best 3:49.21 in the men's 1500m.
- Quentin Worley (3:52.10) additionally ran a personal-best time in the men's 1500m race.
- Jayson Ashford placed second overall in the men's 200m with a 20.99s finish.
- Katherine Dudley recorded a personal best in the women's 400m, running in 57.04s.
- Ames Burton notched a personal best in the women's shot put with a 12.22m throw.
- Kelsey Schweizer (2:06.81) and Brianna Lee (2:12.20) raced personal bests in the women's 800m.
- Erin Zimmerman (45.99m) and Kaesha George (42.76m) threw for personal-best marks in the women's javelin.
- Johnny Martin earned a personal record in the men's 800m with a 1:51.71 time.
- Renee Lewis ran a personal best in the women's 1500m — 4:39.99.
- Mitchell Small and Drew Rogers claimed personal bests in the men's 5000m with time of 13:52.09 and 14:08.26.
- McKenna Revord claimed a personal best time in the women's 5000m at 16:44.76.
