Sophomore Keegan O'Toole slotted sixth in pound-for-pound ranking

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri wrestling team was placed third in the preseason team dual rankings by FloWrestling Tuesday, Sept. 27. Mizzou was also slotted sixth in the team tournament list.
Teams were arranged for the preseason dual standings based on their previous season record and changes in teams' lineups. The Tigers were picked sixth in the team tournament rankings with 54 points. Team points were calculated based on individual weight class rankings.
Moreover, Mizzou has eight wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their weight class and two in the top five. Sophomore Keegan O'Toole tops the 165-pound list coming off a national championship and undefeated season in the weight class, and was ranked sixth on the pound-for-pound list. Classmate Rocky Elam and returning All-American was slotted at fourth at 197 pounds.
Redshirt senior Allan Hart was placed sixth at 141 pounds while redshirt junior Zach Elam is seventh at 285 pounds. Both redshirt juniors Brock Mauller (149) and Peyton Mocco (174) slotted in at ninth in their respective classes. Redshirt sophomore Noah Surtin comes in at 15th at 125 pounds and Jarrett Jacques is 17th at 157 pounds.
Furthermore, redshirt senior Connor Brown (133) and redshirt sophomore Sean Harman (184) were both honorable mentions.
