The Tigers’ 2022 class now includes nine state champions from six states
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri wrestling head coach Brian Smith announced on Thursday the addition of Jerrdon Fisher to the 2022 signing class. Fisher is set to join the Tigers from Goddard High School (Kansas) where he was a three-time Kansas State Champion.
Fisher helped Goddard win its eighth straight 5A team title in 2022, topping the podium at 152 pounds. In 2021, he won the 145-pound class with his brother Jace winning the 152-pound class. Fisher's first state title came at 132 pounds in 2020.
"I chose Mizzou because I feel that the culture of the school and wrestling program fits with my personal lifestyle," Fisher said. "Being a part of the team would help myself, my teammates, and others around me to achieve our academic, athletic, and personal goals at the University of Missouri."
With the addition of the three-time Kansas State Champion, Missouri's 2022 recruiting class now includes nine state champions from six states.
