Tigers Stand Top-5 After Opening Round of Hootie

Five Tigers card rounds under-par
AWENDAW, SC – The University of Missouri men's golf team stands in the top-5 of the leader board at the end of the opening round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay event after posting a 5-under 283 team score. Five of six tigers carded rounds under-par.
Sophomore Jack Lundin led the Tigers firing a 2-under 70 to end the day tied for 12th place. He tallied two eagles, both on Par 5s, and three birdies. This marked his 10th round under-par this season.
All just one stroke behind with 1-under 71s were grad student Jack Parker, senior Tommy Boone, junior Charlie Crockett and redshirt-freshman Dawson Meek. Parker posted three birdies, Boone recorded an eagle and two birdies while Crockett tallied four birdies. Meek took advantage of his debut opportunity, going 2-under on his back-nine to mark his first career round under-par and sets the standard for his best round moving forward. The three Tigers enter tomorrow's round tied for 26th place.
Junior Yu-Ta Tsai rounded out the lineup with a 4-over 76 to claim a piece of 75th place.
Mizzou will tee off tomorrow morning for the second round with tee times ranging between 8-10:15 am CST.
