WBB Welcomes Mississippi State For Sunday Matinee

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's basketball team returns home Sunday for senior day at Mizzou Arena, facing Mississippi State in Southeastern Conference action at 2 p.m. CT.
LaDazhia Williams will be honored in pregame senior-day ceremonies as the Tigers (16-10, 5-8) seek to end a four-game skid. The Bulldogs (15-10, 6-7) enter having dropped three of their last four games. The contest airs on SEC Network + and the Tiger Radio Network.

LAST TIME THEY MET
Mizzou fell 77-62 to the Bulldogs in Starkville, Mississippi on Jan. 27 after a blistering shooting performance from Mississippi State put the Tigers into a hole they could not climb out of. Aijha Blackwell had 17 points, 16 boards and five assists, while Hayley Frank finished with 11 points and four assists. MSU knocked down 14 triples and Caterrion Thompson had a game-high 27 points.

• Mississippi State leads the all-time series 10-3 with a 4-1 edge inside Mizzou Arena.
THE SHOOTAROUND
• The Tigers started the year with an 8-game winning streak, the best since 2015-16 and its 11-2 nonconference record represents the program's best since 2017-18.
• Both teams enter on a three-game losing skid. Mizzou dropped home contests to Ole Miss and Arkansas and fell on the road at Tennessee. UGA lost vs. Florida, at LSU and to No. 1 South Carolina.
• The Tigers rank in the top ten in the nation in both field goal percentage (No. 7 / .468) and three point field goal percentage (No. 2 / .392) and lead the SEC in both categories.
• With 16 wins this season, the Tigers' have won their most games since 2018-19.
• Mizzou ranks 10th in the country and leads the SEC in field goal percentage while also ranking top-10 in three-point field goal percentage.
• Junior guard Aijha Blackwell has recorded 18 double-doubles on the season and 38 for her career. Blackwell averages 15.4 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
• Hayley Frank became the 39th Tigers player in the 1000-career points club at Georgia on Thursday.
• Frank (66) and Lauren Hansen (55) are on pace to be the first teammates to hit 60+ 3-pointers in a season.
