Missouri Governor Parson To Be Honorary Coach Wednesday Night

The Governor will be honored prior to Missouri’s dual against Iowa State
COLUMIBA, Mo. – Gov. Mike Parson will be the University of Missouri wrestling program's honorary coach for its dual against fifth-ranked Iowa State on Wednesday night, head coach Brian Smith announced Monday.
"We're excited to host Governor Parson in front of a packed Hearnes for one of our biggest duals of the season," Smith said. "Iowa State is a tough team and we're ready to showcase our program in front of the governor and the whole state of Missouri.
Parson will be honored on the mat prior to the first match.
"Our flagship university will be on display Wednesday night in Columbia as Mizzou duals against Iowa State," Governor Mike Parson said. "We look forward to the opportunity to see the team in action and Coach Smith's Tiger Style philosophy that has helped build one of the premier wrestling programs in all of college sports."
