Gymnastics Hits the Road for a top 10 Match Against Auburn

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri gymnastics team hits the road for a top-ten matchup against No 7 Auburn on Friday, Feb. 9 in Auburn. The meet will stream on SEC Network with Steve Schlanger and Ashley Miles Greig calling all the action.
SERIES SNAPSHOT
- Mizzou trails the all-time series 10-31 against Auburn. The Tigers have only claimed ten wins against the Auburn Tigers.
- The last time these two met during the regular season, Mizzou walked away with the win. The Tigers claimed a score of 196.175 to 196.00.
MIZZOU NOTABLES
- Mizzou enters week five ranked ninth in the country. They were previously sitting at the number eleven spot.
- In the individual apparatus, the Tigers are ranked in the top 15 in each event.
- On beam, the Tigers are currently ranked second. They are sitting behind SEC foe Florida.
- The Tigers are coming off a program high 197.750 against Florida last Friday. The previous team score record was 197.457, which dates back to 2004.
- In Mizzou's final rotation on the floor, the Tigers set a new team floor score of 49.600, .025 better than their previous record. Their score was anchored by senior Hannah McCrary and Celestine, both of who posted 9.950, tying for the highest individual score of the day.
- McCrary set a new personal best on the floor with a 9.950. Her previous best was a 9.925.
- In the all-around Schreiber surpassed her personal best with a 39.550. Her previous best was 39.525 at NCAA Regionals in 2021.
