• The Jayhawks are averaging 77.7 points, while allowing 65.4 defensively.

SERIES HISTORY
• In a series that dates back to 1907, Kansas owns a 173-95 advantage in the all-time series with the Tigers, including a 67-57 edge in Columbia.
• At 268 all-time meetings, the Border Showdown is the 10th-most played rivalry in NCAA history.
• The schools met for the first time in 10 seasons last year with KU posting a 102-65 win in Lawrence.
• The Border Showdown returns to Mizzou Arena for the first time in 11 seasons since the No. 4 Tigers defeated the No. 8 Jayhawks, 74-71, in 2012 behind 29 points from Marcus Denmon.

TIGERS VERSUS BIG 12
• A former member of the Big 12 Conference, MU owns a 160-145 all-time mark against the league.
 • While in the Big 12, the Tigers posted a 157-134 record from 1996 to 2012 (139-119 in regular season and 18-15 in postseason).
• Since joining the SEC, Mizzou is 3-11 against Big 12 opponents.

ONE OF 10 UNBEATENS REMAINING
• The Tigers are enjoying their best start in nearly a decade and are now one of the last unbeaten teams remaining in the country.
• Mizzou's 9-0 start to the year marks the team's longest winning streak since starting the 2013-14 season with a 10-0 record.
• With a win on Saturday, it would mark just the 10th time (in 117 seasons) the Tigers won their first 10 games of the campaign.
• Missouri is currently one of just 10 unbeaten teams in the nation (of 363 schools) on the year.

RANKED OPPONENTS
• The Tigers are set for the biggest challenge of the season as they are set to face a nationally-ranked school for the first time this year in No. 6 Kansas.
• Mizzou owns a 48-136 all-time record against schools ranked in the top 10, including a 31-43 record in Columbia.
• MU last beat a top-10 foe on Feb. 6, 2021 (No. 10 Alabama), while its last top-10 non-conference win was Dec. 22, 2012 over No. 10 Illinois.

PLAYING RANKED KANSAS
• It's no surprise that Mizzou has played a ranked Kansas team numerous times.
• Missouri owns a 20-58 all-time record versus Kansas when the Jayhawks are ranked.

TOP-SCORING TEAM
• The Tigers own one of the nation's top attacks this season.
• Mizzou enters the game as the national leader in scoring offense, averaging 93.0 points.
• The Tigers are also scoring their points thanks to an efficient attack that is making their shots.
• MU leads the SEC and rank fourth nationally in field goal percentage (51.6) and fifth in effective field goal percentage (59.1).

CONSISTENT ATTACK
• The key to a good offense is consistency and MU has displayed that throughout the year.
• Mizzou has scored at least 80 points in all nine games this season – the only team in the nation to reach the mark in every game.
• It is only the second time in school history that the Tigers have accomplished the feat (did so in first 11 games in 2011-12).
• Additionally, the Tigers have also scored at least 40 points in 17-of-18 periods this year.
