Wrestling's Keegan O'Toole and Rocky Elam Slated for NWCA All-Star Classic, Nov. 22

AUSTIN, Texas – University of Missouri sophomore wrestlers Keegan O'Toole and Rocky Elam are slated to compete at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-Star Classic Tuesday, Nov. 22. The Classic returns after a four-year hiatus and will include 15 men's and three women's matches.
O'Toole will be the ninth bout on the card and will take on No. 5 ranked Dean Hamiti Jr. from Wisconsin at 165 pounds. Ranked No. 1 at 165, the defending national champion most recently defeated No. 19 Tony Negron from Arizona State, Nov. 17, by technical fall (17-1). Moreover, the sophomore has won 34 consecutive matches, dating back to the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
Elam is slated as the 13th match of the night and will challenge Iowa's Jacob Warner at 197 pounds. The sophomore is currently No. 4 in the weight class, while Warner is No. 2. Elam made his season debut at Arizona State, Nov. 17, defeating No. 15 ranked Kordell Norfleet with an 8-2 decision.
The card includes four returning national champions, and every wrestler competing is an All-American. The All-Star Classic is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CT and can be streamed on FloWrestling.
