
Wrestling Associate Head Coach Kendric Maple Selected to Kansas Wrestling Hall of Fame

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri wrestling Associate Head Coach Kendric Maple was selected to enter the Kansas Wrestling Hall of Fame today, Oct. 8, announced the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association (KWCA). Coach Maple is being honored at the annual KWCA "Fritz Knorr" Hall of Fame Banquet.
Calling Wichita, Kan. home, Coach Maple attended and competed at Wichita Height High School where he compiled a 154-9 overall record under head coach Mike Church. As a four-year letterwinner and two-time Kansas State Champion, Maple was a Co-Wrestler of the Year and Brute national champion.
Maple is entering his fourth season with Mizzou wrestling and has coached three wrestlers to five All-American finishes in NCAA tournament action.
