
Keegan O'Toole Named Missouri Wrestling Person of the Year

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri wrestler Keegan O'Toole was chosen as the 2022 Person of the Year, announced by the Missouri Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (NWHOF). O'Toole will be honored at the 2022 NWHOF MO Chapter banquet Sunday, Oct. 23.
O'Toole, originally from Hartland, Wis., won the 2022 Big 12 Championship and NCAA Championship at 165 pounds, with an undefeated 25-0 record in 2021-22. The two-time All-American was named Big 12 Wrestler of the Year, USA Wrestling's Athlete of the Week (March 22, 2022) and was honored as a Scholar All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). The Wisconsin native was a finalist for the Dan Hodge Trophy and the 2022 Hammer Award winner, presented by Amateur Wrestling News.
Keegan is entering his sophomore campaign with Mizzou wrestling which will kick off its season against Lindenwood, Nov. 6, at Dual on the Diamond.
