COLUMBIA, Mo. — Capping off a full week on the road, the University of Missouri men's basketball team heads to Coleman Coliseum to take on Alabama (12-7, 3-3 SEC) Saturday evening. The game is slated for a 5 p.m. tip on SEC Network with Mike Morgan and Joe Kleine on the call. Mike Kelly and Chris Gervino will also have the game on Tiger Radio Network.

MIZZOU HEADLINES
•    Mizzou is coming off a 25-point road victory at Ole Miss, the Tigers' third-largest win all-time against an SEC opponent.
•    Amari Davis was spectacular for Missouri, going a perfect 10-of-10 from the floor and 3-of-3 at the charity stripe. Davis tied a program-record 1.000 field goal shooting percentage, and became the first SEC player to record 10 or more perfect field goals and go 1.000 at free throws since 2012.
•    Mizzou is 8-1 this season when outrebounding its opponents, including a 40-26 advantage against Ole Miss.
•    The win in Oxford was only the second all-time on the road for Mizzou in the series and the first since 2018.
•    As a team, Mizzou had its second-best shooting performance ever against an SEC opponent, shooting 62.7 percent from the floor. The Tigers' were 17-of-24 (70.8 percent) in the second half.
•    In addition to Davis' season-high 23 points, Kobe Brown, Javon Pickett and Ronnie DeGray III reached double-digit scoring.
•    Coleman had a complete stat line with eight points, seven assists and a career-high 13 rebounds.
•    Against SEC opponents, Coleman is averaging 4.4 assists per game which ranks seventh in the SEC.
•    He also has made a three-pointer in 10-straight games, shooting 34.5 percent from behind the arc, compared to 27.2 percent in non-conference games.
•    Trevon Brazile continues to develop as he has 24 blocks through nine games in his freshman season. Brazile's 24 tie for the sixth most all-time by a Mizzou freshman and are 10th nationally among freshman.

THE SERIES
•    Alabama holds the 11-7 lead in the all-time series between the two programs, however, Mizzou has won the last three meetings which all took place in Columbia.
•    Mizzou has not won in Tuscaloosa since 2018 and is 1-6 all-time when playing at Alabama.
•    Saturday will mark the second meeting between the two programs in a matter of weeks, as they previously met in Mizzou Arena on Jan. 8 when Alabama was ranked No. 15.
•    Mizzou won the first meeting between the two teams, 92-86, as Kobe Brown dropped a career-high 30 points with 13 rebounds.
•    Alabama entered the first meeting as one of the top three-point shooting teams in the country, but Mizzou did enough to hold them off and limited the Tide to their fourth-fewest three-point attempts of the season. Meanwhile, the Tigers made a season-high nine three's themselves.
•    In the first meeting, Mizzou outrebounded Alabama 43-31, including 16 offensive rebounds as both teams shot a nearly identical 49 percent from the floor.

SCOUTING ALABAMA
•    Following their loss to Missouri, Alabama dropped another two-straight games before getting back on track with a win Wednesday against LSU, 70-67.

•    Shackelford averages 16.7 points per game, in addition to Jahvon Quinerly who adds 14.9.
•    Alabama ranks second in the SEC and 15th nationally in scoring offense, averaging 81.1 points per game. However, they are 13th in the league and 292 nationally in scoring defense, giving up nearly 75 points a game.
•    Against LSU, Alabama claimed its fourth win over a top-15 team this season and moved them to 8-1 at home in 2021-22.
