Danny Kovac Swims for Spot on U.S. Olympic Team Saturday Night

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Mizzou swimmer Danny Kovac will swim for a spot in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics on Saturday night (June 19) at 8 p.m. on NBC.
Kovac enters Saturday's finals as the fourth-seeded swimmer in the 100-meter fly. He earned the opportunity by posting a 51.61 in the semifinals, marking a personal best for the Tiger.
The top two finshers in Saturday's final will earn a spot on Team USA for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Along with Kovac, former Tiger Michael Chadwick will also continue his quest for an Olympic spot on Saturday night. Chadwick posted a 22.00 in the 50m free prelims to move into the evening semifinals. Chadwick's swim was the fifth-fastest overall in the prelims.
