This marks Steelman’s first post-season appearance
NOBLESVILLE, IN. – Redshirt sophomore Ross Steelman (Columbia, Mo.) is set to represent Mizzou Men's Golf and compete in the NCAA Noblesville Regional. He is slated as the No. 1 seed and will face off against a field of nine other individuals. The low individual that isn't on one of the Top-5 teams moving forward will advance to the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz. from May 28-June 2.
After recently being announced as a member of the All-SEC Second-Team, Steelman hopes to continue his strong season performance in his first post-season appearance. He is just the tenth player in program history to earn a NCAA Regional bid and the first since former Tiger Jamie Stewart did in 2019.
The Columbia native's 2020-21 campaign has been record breaking as he set a new personal-best round score of 7-under 64 at the Legends Collegiate Invitational and a 54-hole event-low score of 16-under 200 at the Missouri Tiger Invitational which is where he also claimed his second-career victory on his home course. Steelman looks to fire his 15th season round under par this week.
