Attendance For Remaining Home Games Increased To 50 Percent of Stadium Capacity
COLUMBIA, Mo. – After playing its home games in all sports at no more than 20 percent capacity through May 9, Mizzou Athletics will allow up to 50 percent capacity for its remaining home sporting events this spring. This adjustment goes into effect with the Tigers' May 18 baseball game against Kansas at Taylor Stadium.
"We have worked with the University's Incident Command team to present a plan that allows us to safely increase our capacity at baseball and hopefully, softball, for the remainder of the season," said Mizzou Director of Athletics Jim Sterk. "Our fans have been tremendous in supporting all of our teams this year, and we are excited to get to 50 percent for the remainder of the year as we build toward a return to 100 percent capacities within all of our venues next season."
Fans are encouraged to wear coverings except when actively eating or drinking, and hand sanitizing stations are available at both Taylor Stadium and the Mizzou Softball Stadium.
The general public may purchase baseball tickets here while Mizzou students can go on-line here for ticket purchases. Mizzou was announced as one of 20 potential host sites for an NCAA Regional and should it be selected, ticket information will be available after the bracket is released May 16.
