Three Mizzou Wrestlers Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

Jacques, Mocco and Surtin were honored for their academic achievements
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Three Mizzou wrestlers were honored by the Mid-American Conference for their academic achievements as 157-pounder Jarrett Jacques, 174-pounder Peyton Mocco and 125-pounder Noah Surtin were named to the Academic All-MAC Wrestling Team. Below are Mizzou's honorees.
- Jarrett Jacques, Junior, 3.462 GPA, Communication (Columbia, Mo.)
- Peyton Mocco, Redshirt Sophomore, 3.939 GPA, Industrial Engineering (West Allis, Wis.)
- Noah Surtin, Sophomore, 3.842 GPA, Health Science (Edwardsville, Ill.)
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the regular season meets. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
