FRISCO, Texas – Mizzou Baseball (3-8) dropped its third game of the Frisco College Baseball Classic, 16-6, against former Big 12 foe Oklahoma on Saturday night.
The Tigers came out quick, scoring its six runs in the first three innings. The team put up a three-spot in the first inning behind lead-off hits from seniors Mark Vierling and Brandt Belk, and four walks. The pitching was helped by junior Jacob Kush who threw 2.1 innings of scoreless ball in relief of starter Seth Halvorsen.
Oklahoma used a six-run sixth inning to break open a 6-6 deadlock. The Sooners claimed control behind five scoreless innings of relief work from Carson Carter.

- Junior Tre Morris threw out his third runner of the season Saturday night, hosing a runner at third. The Cannon Fire squad of he and junior Mike Coletta have combined for three runners caught stealing in Frisco.
- Seniors Brandt Belk and Mark Vierling each notched two-hit games in the loss. The performance is their first and fourth multi-hit games, respectively, this season.
- Junior Jacob Kush put together a solid relief appearance out of the bullpen, tossing 2.1 innings while not allowing any runs.
