Mizzou’s Wright and Nash earn a win in doubles play
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 41 Mizzou Tennis (13-8, 1-5 SEC) fell to No. 29 Florida (6-6, 4-3 SEC), 4-0, on Friday afternoon in Gainesville, Fla. Mizzou earned a win in doubles play and had earned two set-one victories when play was stopped after the Gators clinched the match.
DOUBLES
Florida took the doubles point after picking up victories on court one ant two.
On court three, senior Serena Nash (Bradford, England) and senior Ellie Wright (Gainesville, Fla.) earned a 6-2 win over Sydney Berlin and Sara Dahlstrom.
SINGLES
In singles play, Florida clinched the match following wins on courts one, two and five. Freshman Valentina Vazquez Pongruber (Santiago, Chile), senior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) and sophomore Elys Ventura (Auckland, New Zealand) all had set wins.

Mizzou next travels to Columbia, S.C. to face No. 39 South Carolina on Sunday, March 14. The match is scheduled to start at Noon CT.
