Coach Welker on Addison…
"We are thrilled to officially welcome Addi and her family to Tiger Nation! She will make an immediate impact on all four events. Her work ethic, mental toughness and fun personality are a combination of the exact ingredients it takes to be successful in the NCAA's best gymnastics conference."
Lawrence on why she chose Mizzou…
"I chose Mizzou for many reasons. First, I wanted to stay closer to home so my family could come to support me at competitions and go home and support my little sister as she goes through her high school days. The next reason was the academics. Mizzou has a major that fits what I want to do and they provide the amazing resources to help me succeed. Last but most certainly not least, the gymnastics. I wanted to go somewhere with a great coaching staff that intends to stay at the school for my whole career there. I wanted a place where I feel wanted by the staff and gymnasts so we can all work together to reach our goals."
