
Mizzou Men’s Golf Gears Up for SEC Match Play Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. – As the fall season winds down the Mizzou Men's Golf team gears up for the SEC Match Play Championships, Oct. 10-12 in Birmingham, Ala. at Shoal Creek Golf Course. The Tigers look to continue their momentum having placed in the top five in two of the three tournaments this season.

Jack Parker:
It was a stellar performance last weekend at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate for Parker, finishing fourth at 7-under 209. Parker was under-par in each round of the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate, including matching his 18-hole career-low score of 67 during the second round. This season Parker has shot under-par in seven of the 10 rounds he's played.
Jack Lundin:
Lundin finished tied for 18th after carding a 2-under 214 at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate last weekend. It was a stellar final round at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate for the sophomore from Sioux Falls, S.D., recording a 4-under 68, the third best 18-hole score of his career. Lundin has earned three top 10 finishes this season including two top five and one victory.
Yu Ta Tsai:
Tsai continued his stellar performance on the golf course last weekend at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate, shooting a 5-under 211 to finish tied for sixth. His 5-under 211 matched his career-low 54-hole score as Tsai registered his second straight top 10 finish.
Charlie Crockett:
In his second tournament as a Tiger Crockett finished tied for 24th after shooting 1-under 215 at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate. Crockett's 1-under performance was highlighted by 3-under 69 during the final round. Crockett in two tournaments for Mizzou has recorded under-par in two of the six rounds played.
Dagbjartur Sigurbrandsson:
Sigurbrandsson finished in a tie for 26th at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate after shooting even-par 216. Sigurbrandsson started off the tournament with a 76 before back-to-back rounds under-par including a career-best 3-under 69 in round two. The freshman from Reykjavick, Iceland has a 18-hole stroke average of 72.4 in 10 rounds and has posted four rounds under-par.
