COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Soccer (5-9, 1-6 SEC) will take on No. 13 Ole Miss (11-2-2, 6-1 SEC) in the annual pink game. Missouri will face back-to-back top 15 opponents for the first time since 2017. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. CT on SECN+ with Nate Gatter and Simon Rose on the call.
During the 2020 season, the Tigers faced then-No. 13 Vanderbilt in the annual "Pink Out" and the Tigers pulled the upset with Cassidy Nurnberger's 61st minute goal providing the difference.
The Tigers return home after falling 6-1 on the road at No. 6 Arkansas. Nurnberger scored the Tigers' lone goal of the match with the assist from Jenna McCormick and Julissa Cisneros. The assist marked the first point of McCormick's career.
Momola Adesanmi will look to make her 85th appearance as a Tiger, moving her into a tie for second in Mizzou history.
Mizzou is 4-2-2 all-time against the Rebels and undefeated in the last six meetings between the two programs. Ole Miss' last win over the Tigers came in 2003 in Oxford.
Admission to Audrey J. Walton Soccer Stadium is free. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink for Thursday's match.
