KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Mizzou Tennis (15-13, 1-10 SEC) fell to No. 22 Tennessee (12-6, 6-4 SEC) on Sunday afternoon in Knoxville, Tenn. Mizzou led in all three doubles matches before a furious comeback from the Lady Volunteers.

DOUBLES

In doubles play, Tennessee took the point after picking up victories on courts two and three. Mizzou's team at the No. 1 spot, senior Serena Nash (Bradford, England) and senior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) was tied, 5-5, with Tenika McGiffin and Eleonora Molinaro when play was stopped.

SINGLES

In singles play, Georgia won on court 4, 5 and 6 to clinch the match. Playing at No. 2, junior Bronte Murgett (Holmfirth, Great Britain) won the second set and was about to begin the third against No. 68-ranked Eleonora Molinaro when play was halted.

Next, Mizzou will head to College Station, Texas to face No. 17 Texas A&M on Thursday, April 8. The match is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. CT.
