Oliveira earns two wins in the match for Mizzou
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis (8-7, 0-3 SEC) fell to Arkansas (7-4, 2-1 SEC), 4-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Mizzou Tennis Complex in Columbia, Mo. Junior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) picked up two wins in the match, one in singles and one in doubles, to lead the way for Mizzou.
DOUBLES
Mizzou dropped the doubles point after falling on courts one and two. Oliveira and sophomore Vivien Ábrahám (Budapest, Hungary) earned a win in the No. 3 position for Mizzou, as they defeated Laura Rijkers and Thea Rice, 7-5.
SINGLES
In singles play, Oliveira picked up the lone win of the match for Mizzou, as she defeated Jackie Carr in the No. 3 position, 6-2, 6-3. Senior Serena Nash (Bradford, England) and freshman Elys Ventura (Auckland, New Zealand) were both in the midst of three-set matches when the match was clinched by the Razorbacks.

Next, Mizzou will host the second of a three-match homestand, as the Tigers host Kentucky on Friday, March 13. The match is slated to start at 5:00 p.m. CT at the Mizzou Tennis Complex.
