The Tigers will compete in an SEC-only schedule for 2021
2021 Mizzou Gymnastics Schedule
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou gymnastics team, in conjunction with the Southeastern Conference, has announced the 2021 schedule.The 2021 SEC gymnastics season will be comprised of eight meets per school over a 10-week conference-only schedule, with the regular-season concluding with the SEC Gymnastics Championships on March 20 in New Orleans.
The decision to limit competition to conference-only opponents was based on the need for maximum flexibility in making any necessary scheduling adjustments while reacting to developments around the COVID-19 pandemic and continued advice from medical professionals. The schedule includes two open dates for all schools in Week five and Week 10 to allow for rescheduling of postponed events.
After Mizzou's annual Black & Gold Practice on Friday, Dec. 4 at the Hearnes Center at 6:30 p.m., the Tigers officially open the campaign at Georgia on Friday, Jan. 8. The Tigers open the home portion of its schedule on Friday, Jan. 15 as the team hosts Alabama at the Hearnes Center.
Missouri will also welcome Kentucky (Jan. 22), Auburn (Feb. 12) and Georgia (Feb. 26) to the Hearnes Center, and will face Florida (Jan. 29), Arkansas (Feb. 19) and LSU (March 5) on the road.
The 2021 SEC Gymnastics Championship are schedule for Saturday, March 20 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, La.
Mizzou is also slated to host a 2021 NCAA Regional, April 1-3, at the Hearnes Center.
