
Mizzou Women's Golf Set for The Ally on Monday

Freshman Emily Staples makes her Mizzou debut
WEST POINT, Miss. — Mizzou Women's Golf continues its fall campaign on Monday at The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State. The 54-hole stroke play competition will feature all 14 Southeastern Conference golf programs from Oct. 19-21.
Mizzou tees off in pairings with Kentucky and Alabama beginning Monday morning at 9:54 a.m. CT. The three-round tournament will feature 18 holes per day over three consecutive days.
WHERE: The tournament will take place at the Old Waverly Golf Course (Par-72, 6,377 yards) in West Point, Mississippi.
WHEN: The Ally will begin on Monday, Oct. 19 and end Wednesday, Oct. 21. Mizzou's first pairing is set to tee off at 9:54 a.m. with the rest of the pairings following at 12-minute intervals with the final Tiger teeing off at 10:42 a.m.

Sophomore Sophia Yoemans leads the Mizzou lineup for the second straight tournament, making her ninth career start. She has seven rounds of 76 or better in her last 12 rounds of golf.
Senior Noelle Beijer led Mizzou with a T-39 performance at the season-opening Blessings Collegiate Invitational. Beijer has been Mizzou's top performer four times in eight tournaments as a Tiger and has never finished worse than second in Mizzou's lineup in her time in Columbia. She's finished in the Top-40 in all eight tournaments as a Tiger heading into The Ally.
Freshman Emily Staples will make her first career start on Monday. The Orlando, Florida, native makes her Mizzou debut after a decorated prep career that included a top-20 ranking in the Sunshine State and a Top-200 ranking on the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
Redshirt junior Julia Bower is back in the lineup for a second consecutive tournament, looking to secure a third career Top-40 finish.
Senior Jessica Yuen is in the fifth and final spot of the Mizzou lineup at The Ally. This marks the 33rd tournament appearance for the veteran.
