Mizzou Cross Country Announces 2020 Fan Attendance Policy

Fan attendance will be limited to student-athlete guests, visiting team allotment and staff
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Athletics announced Thursday that limited fan attendance will be allowed for Mizzou Cross Country's first home meet of the season at the Gans Creek Recreation Area.
Attendance at the Gans Creek Classic will be limited to student-athlete guests, visiting team allotments and athletic department staff. Face coverings will be required for all fans and gameday staff in attendance. Fans are asked to remain in their designated areas to follow social distancing guidelines.
The department also announced that it will monitor COVID-19 health guidelines throughout the rest of the season and adjust accordingly.
The Gans Creek Classic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, as the Tigers host Arkansas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. The men are set to begin the 8000m race at 9:00 a.m. CT, while the women will begin the 6000m race at 10 a.m. CT. The race will be streamed live on YouTube. Following the Gans Creek Classic, Mizzou will also host the Missouri XC Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16.
