COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference released Mizzou Women's Basketball's 2020 conference schedule Wednesday, as head coach Robin Pingeton's team will host four teams who reached the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
Mizzou looks to continue its success at Mizzou Arena, where Pingeton's squad is a remarkable 54-9 over the last four seasons, including a 7-1 mark in home SEC matchups in 2018-19. Mizzou will host NCAA participants Mississippi State (Jan. 9), South Carolina (Jan. 16), Kentucky (Jan. 30) and Auburn (Feb. 27).
Mizzou will play three conference foes twice over the conference slate, including Arkansas, LSU and Ole Miss. Mizzou's conference road schedule includes matchups at Tennessee (Jan. 2), Arkansas (Jan. 12), Ole Miss (Jan. 19), Texas A&M (Jan. 26), Georgia (Feb. 6), LSU (Feb. 10), Vanderbilt (Feb. 20) and Alabama (March 1).
Following the regular season slate, the 2020 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament will be held March 4-8 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. The tournament will include all 14 teams, and will conclude with the championships game on Sunday, March 8.
In addition to the league slate, Mizzou's previously announced nonconference slate includes seven opponents who advanced to the postseason in 2019-20 and a Thanksgiving weekend tournament in Cancun, Mexico.
