COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball (34-21-1) begins postseason play Tuesday afternoon with an opening-round matchup at the 2019 Southeastern Conference Tournament.
The No. 10 seed Tigers will meet No. 7 seed Ole Miss with first pitch scheduled for 45 minutes following the conclusion of No. 6 seed Texas A&M and No. 11 seed Florida's matchup. The Aggies and Gators will kick off the week at Hoover Metropolitan Complex at 9:30 a.m. CT Tuesday.
Mizzou and Ole Miss' first-round contest will broadcast live on SEC Network. Dave Neal, Chris Burke, Ben McDonald and Mike Rooney will be on the call.
Fans can also tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM and 1580 AM) during this week's SEC Tournament and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels will be on the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. Ole Miss
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series with Ole Miss, 11-10.
- The two teams met earlier this season in Columbia, Missouri, for a three-game SEC weekend series (March 22-24). The Tigers took both the opener and finale at Taylor Stadium to earn a series victory over the Rebels.
- Tuesday afternoon will mark Mizzou and Ole Miss' first-ever meeting in the SEC Tournament.

- Mizzou owns a 2-7 record over its six-year history at the SEC Tournament.
- The Tigers' last victory in Hoover occurred two years ago, as they defeated Texas A&M (May 23, 2017) in an opening-round contest.
- Mizzou has advanced to the double elimination bracket twice all-time with the aforementioned run in 2017, plus a three-day stay in 2015.

- Mizzou's Tuesday matchup vs. Ole Miss is part of the SEC Tournament's single elimination bracket. With a victory over the Rebels, the Tigers would advance to a double elimination bracket starting Wednesday afternoon against No. 2 seed Arkansas.
- With a loss against Ole Miss, the Tigers' run in Hoover would end and it would then await the NCAA Tournament Selection Show next Monday (May 27).
