COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 21 Mizzou Baseball (34-18-1, 13-13-1 SEC) wraps up its 2019 regular season schedule Thursday-Saturday at Taylor Stadium, as Florida makes the trek west to Mid-Missouri. The series opener is slated for a 6:30 p.m. CT first pitch Thursday evening.
Friday evening is set for another matchup under the lights with first pitch once again scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT. The Tigers and Gators wrap-up the three-game series Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. CT.
All three games of the series will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Ben Arnet and former Mizzou Baseball head coach Tim Jamieson will be on the call.
Fans can also tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM, 1580 AM) Thursday-Saturday and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels return to the radio airwaves.

Ticket Promotions This Series
- Fans can purchase tickets ahead of each game at MUTigers.com/Tickets or by calling the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS.
- Tickets will also be available on game days at the ticket booth outside of Taylor Stadium.
- For each game between Mizzou and Florida, the following ticket promotions will be available:
- Family 4-Pack (four tickets, four hot dogs, and four drinks for $25).
- All University of Missouri faculty and staff members receive $3 admission when present their ID at the Taylor Stadium ticket booth.
- All fans can receive $4 tickets when purchasing online and entering the promo code "ZIMMER".
Series History vs. Florida
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series with Florida, 20-4.
- The two programs last met a season ago (April 13-14, 2018) for a three-game series in Gainesville, Florida. The Gators tallied a series sweep, outscoring the Tigers, 20-5.
- Florida last visited Taylor Stadium two years ago (March 31 – April 2, 2017) for a three-game set. The Gators also produced a series sweep then as well, but all three contests were decided by only one run.
- Mizzou last defeated the Gators four years ago (April 3-5, 2015), as it took two-of-three in a series at Taylor Stadium. The Tigers dropped their series opener, but responded with back to back wins and outscored the Gators, 15-4.
Mizzou Rises Again in Latest NCAA RPI Rankings
- Most recently behind a big road win at No. 2 Vanderbilt (May 11), Mizzou stayed in the national rankings for the third straight week and fourth time in the past five weeks, peaking as high as No. 21 according to Baseball America (May 13).
- In the latest NCAA RPI rankings (May 13), Mizzou climbed six spots to No. 14 overall, marking its sixth consecutive week in the top-25.
- The Tigers have routinely competed against the nation's best, participating in 24 games versus current top 50 RPI teams and 18 contests against top 25 RPI programs.
- In those contests against top 50 RPI squads, Mizzou possesses 10 victories, highlighted by taking two of three against No. 10 Tennessee (May 3-5), No. 22 LSU (April 12-14), No. 28 Ole Miss (March 22-24) and No. 45 Kentucky (April 5-7).
- Additionally, the Tigers recorded a win and tie at No. 15 Texas A&M (March 29-31) and the aforementioned single-game win at No. 1 Vanderbilt (May 11).
Up Next for Mizzou
- The Tigers next turn their attention towards the 2019 Southeastern Conference Tournament in Hoover, Alabama.
- If Mizzou receives a No. 6-12 seed in the tournament, it will open play next Tuesday (May 21) at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. A win in the opening round would advance the Tigers to a double-elimination bracket, beginning on Wednesday (May 22).
