Mizzou One of Four SEC Schools Slated to Participate
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Mizzou Softball is headed to the 2020 St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational, the tournament announced Friday, May 10. The Tigers will join Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina in the Sunshine State next season as the only four SEC schools to compete in the event.
It will be Mizzou's first time competing in the event, as the now annual event returns this year to the Eddie C Moore Complex in Clearwater Fla, and will take place from Feb. 13 – Feb. 16, 2020. Tickets are not yet on sale, but will be soon as the Women's College World Series approaches. The complete tournament schedule and matchups will be announced during the early part of the fall.
