COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Track & Field wrapped up competition at home at the Tom Botts Invitational on Saturday, as freshman Mirieli Santos (Mato Grosso, Brazil) set the triple jump school and meet record. Following the meet, redshirt sophomore Sophia Rivera (Brentwood, Mo.) and redshirt senior Will Fife (Jefferson City, Mo.) were recognized as the Most Outstanding Performers for the meet following wins in the discus and javelin for Rivera and shot put for Fife.
In total, six program top-10 marks were set on the day, as Santos was joined by Fife in the shot put, senior Maya Cody (St. Louis, Mo.) and redshirt sophomore Nylo Clarke (Riverside, Mo.) in the 100m dash, freshman Georgi Nachev (Yambol, Bulgaria) in the triple jump and redshirt junior CeCe Johnson (St. Louis, Mo.) in the discus.
NOTABLE FINISHES
