COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball (25-12-1) hits the road Tuesday for a non-conference midweek matchup at Missouri State. First pitch at Hammons Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
Fans can tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM, 1580 AM) Tuesday evening and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels return to the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. Missouri State
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series with Missouri State, 29-28.
- The Tigers swept the two-game series with the Bears a season ago, earning an 8-2 victory at Taylor Stadium (April 24, 2018) and 8-6 win in Springfield (April 10, 2018).
- Mizzou and Missouri State have played a home and home series in each of the past nine seasons (2010-18). In those 18 contests, the Tigers have produced an 8-10 record overall, including a 3-6 mark in matchups at Springfield.
Mizzou Finishes Strong Week, Earns First-Ever Series Win Over LSU
- Mizzou enjoyed another strong week of play, tallying a 3-1 overall record, highlighted by taking two of three at Taylor Stadium vs. No. 8 LSU (April 12-14).
- This weekend's triumphs over LSU marked Mizzou's first-ever series win against the Tigers from Baton Rouge.
- Before its series this weekend, Mizzou only possessed a 1-14 record all-time against LSU. With back to back wins Saturday-Sunday and its solo victory last season at Baton Rouge (March 17, 2018), Mizzou has won three of its last five meetings against LSU.
- The friendly confines of Taylor Stadium continue to treat Mizzou well this season, as Saturday and Sunday's wins improved its home record to 16-3.
- Mizzou has also consistently finished series' strong in 2019. Sunday's win over LSU improved Mizzou's record in series finales to 7-2-1.
- Mizzou opened this past week with a 10-3 victory at SIUE. Mizzou is now a perfect 7-0 in Tuesday matchups this season.
- The win over the Cougars also improved Mizzou's non-conference record this season to 18-5.
- Mizzou's offense really came alive as a whole this past week, hitting .321 (43-for-134) with 36 runs scored (9.00 per game), nine doubles, two triples, five home runs and nine stolen bases. Mizzou's bats nearly tallied a collective 1.000 OPS as well (.949 overall - .530 SLG%, .419 OBP).
